Swap-Bot Swaps Galore
Joined this swap on swap-bot on Tuesday, and thought I would put up a pic of the stuff I sent to my Partner so here it is:
There are some flowers, prima pearls, leaves, fancy paper clips, butterfly and dragonfly brads as well as round brads, a little pink ticket, and some netting and lace. Also a cute butterfly card to write a nice little message in. I hope my partner likes the little package that I have sent.
I also Joined this swap, and here are the stamped images that I have sent:
The last swap that I joined is this one, it involved writing a list of things under your bathroom sink and this is what I cam up with, yep thats right that will make it 2 lists this week.
Things Under My Bathroom Sink:
Until next time......

Post Cards
I just joined a Photography Post Card Swap on swap-bot that can be found here, it is on my watchlist at the moment because being a newbie to the swap-bot site I can only be involved in 5 swaps at a time.
The requirements of the swap were to take a photo of a post box and turn it into a postcard, then send it to 3 different swap partners. I took my photo and decided to make it interesting by altering the photo in Photoshop. Here is the original photo:
Here it is with a grunge like border and a filter added to it (don't remember what filter I used). Looks good but I decided it needed something to make the post box stand out more....
So I took all the color out of it except for the red of the box itself, and here is the final result.
I am getting better at this whole Photoshop thing, so much so that I have decided to enroll in a course that teaches you about Photoshop, the only issue I will have is that the course requirements are that you have Adobe Photoshop CS4, and I only have CS3. I will have to get in contact with the course lecturer to find out if this is OK. I hope it will be otherwise it will cost me a fortune just to upgrade my version to the correct one.
Let me know what you think about how the photo turned out....

Art Journal For Beginners - Swap Bot Swap
I joined this swap on swap-bot because I am really into Art Journaling. And because I love any excuse to use my bind-it-all, I made the journal my self. Here is what I have come up with so far:
This is the front cover:
Inside Cover and Page 1.
Page 2 & 3 - This is Me....
Page 4 & 5 - Wings
Page 6 & 7 - Adds
There will be about 30 double spread pages in total, each with different prompts. I am going to work on this a little more today prolly do another 3 or 4 more prompts. I just wont stay up for as long as I did doing this last night. I ended up going to bed at 2am, needless to say I am a little tired today but that's OK I get to have a nap later today.
In other news I have gotten in contact with a lovely lady in Victoria named Glenda, that sells the Art Journaling Magazine made by Stampington & Company. Here is a picture of the issue that I am getting:
I can't wait to get it in the mail. I will probably lay down on my bed with the electric blanket on and spend a few hours reading it from cover to cover.
If anyone is interested in taking a look at Glenda's Blog you can see it here, she has some fantastic stuff here especially her ATC's they are fabulous.
Well thats all from me for now, keep checking back.
